Summer Party: September 12th, 2-5pm

The TPP Summer Party 2015 will take place at Hocking Hall, Whittington Park Community Association.

If you have ever wondered what we spend your membership fee on, this is half of the answer (the other half comes at Christmas). We hire the large ground floor hall of the Whittington Park Community centre, and for the afternoon we have use of the lawn at the back of the park that runs alongside Yerbury Road.

Following last year’s circus, this time Natasha Cox has organised a fairy-tale party. There will be a bouncy castle, fairy-tale themed crafts, balloon modelling princesses, potion making, face painting and all sorts. If you and/or your child(ren) like dressing up, come in your finery!

Natasha needs volunteers to help set up and decorate, so come a bit early if you can – it makes all the difference.

Please bring an edible contribution to the communal buffet table/picnic spread. Past experience has found that simple things that are easy to eat are most popular – sausages, scotch eggs and cheese cubes, savoury dips and crackers, sandwiches, pieces of fruit. Quiche and similar always go, but we don’t like having sharp knives lying on the table where children can reach them, so slice them up before you come! Ditto, sticks of French bread and watermelons. And proffer a box of Mr Kipling’s incredibly sweet cakes only if you will be happy for your child(ren) to eat them all because no-one else will!

The TPP will provide fruit juice for the children, wine and beer for the adults.

The party is free to current TPP members and their children – we will be checking names at the door.

Book tickets online through Eventbrite.

Others can attend, but non-members or former members will be asked to pay on the door.

Put the date on your calendar now: Sat 12th Sept, Whittington Park 2-5pm.

We look forward to seeing you!
